The Sell Team
is a group of Black Belt athletes who desire to use their talents for
the glory of God. The Sell Team is lead by Edward and Brenda Sell, two
of the top ranking Black Belts in the world of Taekwondo. Grandmaster
Edward B. Sell,, founder of the U.S. Chung Do Kwan Association,
is the holder of a 9th Degree Black Belt. He is the only person in the
world (outside of the Korean nationality) to receive such a distinction
from the World Taekwondo Federation in Seoul, Korea. His wife, Grandmaster
Brenda J. Sell is the holder of a 7th Degree Black Belt. She carries
a world title as the first woman to officially test for this rank. The
other Sell Team members range from all ages, male and female. Each Sell
Team member is a born again Christian and a certified Black Belt who makes
Jesus the Master of their life. A talent is simply a gift that someone
has taken the time to develop. 2 Timothy 4:14 says. "neglect not
the gift that is with thee." Developing our gifts requires discipline
and determination. It takes approximately 2-3 years to become a Black
Belt. A Black Belt represents a champion
a champion of his/her own weaknesses. Taekwondo is by far the most
advanced form of hand and foot martial arts, as was demonstrated in the
1988 Olympics. Taekwondo added to its credibility by being the first and
only hand and foot sport in the Olympics. As in all other sports, Taekwondo
emphasizes strengthening discipline, concentration, integrity, and coordination
as well as the physical being. When a person becomes absorbed in training
his body and strengthening his mind, will, and emotions (soul), he soon
discovers a void in his life. The void of course is the spirit. In order
to be a whole man or a fulfilled person, we must be strong
in all three areas: body, mind, and spirit. Nothing can fulfill the void
in your spirit except Jesus Christ. God is a spirit and they that worship
Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. The teaching principles and
the messages that The Sell Team have to share are based upon the Importance
of becoming a Whole Man. 1. Strong in Body - Physical
